The Stayin Pin Cube

I won’t keep you on pins and needles, but I wanted to share a little surprise I found in a Hogansville, Georgia, antique shop.  The little 1-3/8″ pin cube shown below is a fascinating example of early industrial products and probably dates to just before the Great War.

I don’t know much about the “Best Glass-Head Pins” in “The Stayin Pin Cube”, but they’re made in “Germany” and “Cannot Fall Out”.  That said, I’m missing five pins, so some did fall out.
